Long Wave, Inc. is seeking an experienced Training Developer to design and maintain high-quality instructional materials for technical and government contracting programs. The role blends eLearning development with traditional instructor-led training to meet DoD requirements.

The ideal candidate will apply ISD principles, collaborate with SMEs, and deliver engaging, effective learning experiences for diverse audiences in a subcontractor role within the prime organization.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience developing eLearning courses using authoring tools.
• Strong knowledge of Instructional System Design (ISD) principles and methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to create Instructor Guides, Student Guides, and presentation materials.
• Experience delivering and facilitating instructor-led training to diverse audiences.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills with ability to engage learners effectively.
• Experience working with subject matter experts to develop technical training content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop interactive eLearning courses using Adobe Captivate and other authoring tools.
• Create ISD courseware including Instructor Guides, Student Guides, and Presentation Materials.
• Develop course templates, style guides, storyboards, and engaging user interfaces.
• Maintain and update ILT and eLearning courseware to reflect current guidelines.
• Apply ISD theories and models to create effective learning experiences.
• Define learning objectives and establish quality control measures.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure technical accuracy and relevance.
• Communicate with customers to understand training needs and ensure deliverables meet requirements.
• Interface professionally with DoD personnel and maintain government contracting standards.
• Deliver and facilitate ILT courses to military and civilian personnel.
• Engage learners with effective presentation techniques and hands-on exercises.
• Adapt delivery methods for different learning styles and skill levels.
• Manage classroom dynamics and provide learner feedback.
