Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer with a strong IT management background to support a DoD program. The role leads project planning and execution, coordinates cross-functional technical teams, and serves as the primary point of contact for government customers.

On-site support at the Pentagon is required up to 50% of the time. You will work with systems engineering, operations, CM, DevSecOps, and security teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver solutions that meet

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
10 years of relevant IT experience.
Interim or active Secret security clearance.
Experience with systems administration, cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE.
Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, resource management, and risk management.
Experience leading meetings with Government customers and managing expectations.
Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
Lead project planning and allocate resources within approved scopes.
Assign tasks, set priorities, and direct team members across multiple functions.
Manage dependencies, risks, and issues; drive timely resolutions.
Serve as customer-facing project lead, communicating status and decisions to government stakeholders.
Evaluate and adopt new technologies in alignment with customer requirements and security expectations.
