Job summary

Mountain Top Talent LLC seeks a mission-focused Systems Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and lifecycle management of aviation and ground DoD systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field related to systems engineering.
• At least 10 years of aerospace/defense systems experience in regulated environments.
• Experience with DoD standards and lifecycle processes (DoDI 5000, INCOSE, IEEE 15288).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage system-level requirements and architectures for aviation and ground platforms.
• Perform system decomposition and traceability using DOORS, Cameo, or similar tools.
• Support integration of embedded software, avionics, and sensors into complex systems.
• Contribute to DoD-compliant development and verification activities (SRS, ICD, SDD, SEP).
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and contractors to meet cybersecurity and operational requirements.
• Assist in risk management, configuration control, and technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Support SILs, HIL testing, and field tests; leverage AI tools to create deliverables.
