Job summary

AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer in the San Diego area to support DoD Navy programs. The role involves design, integration, testing, deployment and sustainment of complex defense systems with a hybrid onsite/remote arrangement.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or Physics and 3+ years of systems engineering experience.
Ability to analyze requirements and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead system design, procurement, deployment and sustainment of complex defense systems.
Coordinate with government stakeholders, program managers, and cybersecurity personnel.
Support system integration testing, verification and validation activities.
Maintain engineering documentation and configuration records.
Provide technical leadership and risk mitigation across the lifecycle.
