Job summary

SOSi is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam in Honolulu, Hawaii. You will maintain and support system operation, security, and DoD compliance for USINDOPACOM and 5,000+ customers across the Pacific theater.

Responsibilities include installing, updating and monitoring server and hosted applications, providing Tier-2 support, documenting configurations, and ensuring secure, reliable IT services in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance is required.
• DoD 8570 IAT-II compliant security certification.
• 6+ years of systems administration or related field experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server, WSUS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, install, update and secure server infrastructure.
• Provide Tier-2 support for system issues and change control.
• Ensure DoD-compliant security and document configurations.
• Prepare status reports and brief management/customers.
• Collaborate with teams and customers to troubleshoot and upgrade services.
