Job summary

SOSi is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, providing C2 IT solutions for 5,000+ Pacific theater users. You will work on zero-trust architecture, data-centric security, and enterprise infrastructure management in DoD environments.

The role requires DoD protocols familiarity, DoD security credentials, and the ability to deliver executive briefings. Fast-paced, mission-critical operations with potential non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility and US passport.
• Associates degree in IT, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering or similar, or 4+ years of enterprise IT experience in DoD environments.
• 2+ years of server administration; experience with Microsoft or Linux enterprise services (Exchange, AD, DNS/BIND, DHCP, SQL).
• DoD security certifications (A+, CND, or Network+); Microsoft certs and RHCSA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, design, and roadmap ZTA solutions for DoD environments.
• Assess, design, and roadmap Data Centric Security solutions.
• Lead technical projects including upgrades and integrations across enterprise capabilities.
• Provide mentorship to Systems Operations personnel and support 24/7 operations.
