Job summary

SOSi is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Honolulu, Hawaii. You will maintain and support DoD-compliant IT systems, monitor operations, and support security across Windows/Linux environments in a fast-paced defense setting.

You will provide Tier-2 support, implement changes under DoD guidelines, update documentation, and collaborate with government customers and internal teams to ensure mission-critical IT services remain available 24/7 where

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT-II level compliant security qualifications required or in progress.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux server administration, security hardening, and audits.
• Active directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor server environment, performance, and operational status.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across server systems and components.
• Respond to incidents affecting core services and infrastructure.
• Accurately log incidents and tickets with root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams and customers.
• Secure components following DoD guidelines and accreditation requirements.
• Develop/update system documentation and DoD compliance artifacts.
• Provide guidance and training to admins and end-users.
• Deliver status updates to management and government customers; file activity reports.
• Collaborate to upgrade/install services and optimize performance.
• Ensure custody of government equipment and manage lifecycle tasks.
• Participate in related projects and secular improvements.
