Job summary

SOSi seeks a Systems Engineer in Honolulu to support Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, delivering enterprise C2 IT solutions and private cloud infrastructure for 5,000+ users across the Pacific. You will work with senior DoD personnel, present executive briefings, and ensure compliance with Zero Trust Architecture and Data Centric Security Principles.

Qualifications

• Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility and US Passport.
• Bachelors degree in IT, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering or similar and 4+ years of experience, or 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT systems engineering and operations in DoD environments.

Responsibilities

• Assess, design, and roadmap development for ZTA solutions.
• Assess, design, and roadmap development for Data Centric Security solutions.
• Interact with vendors, agencies, and partners to support ZTA initiatives.
• Lead complex technical projects including upgrades, integrations and installations.
• Provide mentorship for Systems Operations personnel.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant hardware and software.
• Prepare and summarize activity reports and AARs.
• Ensure custody and ownership of Government equipment.
