Job summary

Mission Technologies’ Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) System Administrator I provides frontline IT support for enterprise systems in a 24/7 environment. You’ll manage access, troubleshoot issues, image workstations, and ensure security policy compliance across secure networks.

You’ll collaborate with network, cybersecurity, and engineering teams, handling tickets, deployments, and documentation while supporting mission-critical training activities.

Qualifications

• 0 years experience with Bachelor's degree in a related field; or
• High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to follow technical procedures and standard operating instructions.
• Strong communication skills and security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage ticket queues in Jira ITSM for timely response.
• Troubleshoot user issues related to access, hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Process account requests: create, modify, deactivate per security policies.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 and track to resolution.
• Perform workstation imaging, setup, and deployment for onboarding.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in knowledge bases.
• Support patching, software installation, and system updates as directed.
• Coordinate with network, cybersecurity, and engineering teams.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for account activity.
• Provide support during operational events and 24/7 coverage.
• Communicate issue status and resolution to users and stakeholders.
• Participate in 24/7 rotations and on-call as required.
