Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks a Network Administrator to support the Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) within the NOSC. The role emphasizes operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting NETTN connectivity and related network infrastructure.

We require US Secret clearance, Security+ or equivalent, and extensive Cisco/IP networking experience. Based in Virginia Beach with occasional after-hours support; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD/JD; or 13 years with HS diploma.
• Security+ or equivalent certification required.
• Must hold a US Secret security clearance.
• Experience installing/troubleshooting WAN and LAN equipment and circuits.
• Strong experience with ASA firewall ACLs and network troubleshooting at protocol level.
• Solid Cisco networking knowledge (IP, switching, routing) and IOS.
• Experience in a NOSC/NETTN or similar network operations center environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot network connectivity and infrastructure on NETTN.
• Support multiple networks across classification levels and ensure continuous connectivity.
• Troubleshoot WAN, LAN, firewall ACLs, VoIP registrations, and cryptographic devices.
• Coordinate with Navy/DISA and providers for implementation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain IA compliance including IOS upgrades and firewall changes.
• Support remote sites during network failures.
