Job summary

AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer in San Diego, CA who will support and maintain DoD systems in a secure, mission-critical environment.

The role involves agile collaboration, Linux administration, and deploying containerized apps using Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift, with a strong emphasis on security and compliance. Ideal candidates hold an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, DoD 8570 IAT II, and a CS/engineering degree with 8+ years in DoD

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or eligibility.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline and 8+ years’ DoD experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain systems in a secure, mission-critical DoD environment.
• Participate in an Agile software development and system integration team.
• Deploy, manage and troubleshoot containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Administer and manage PKI and related security in DoD environments.
• Travel up to 10% annually for deployments.
