Job summary

Lyntris in San Diego, CA seeks a Software Engineer I to design, develop, and sustain containerized web services for DoD programs. You will work with Java, Groovy, Kotlin and front-end tech in a Linux environment, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automation.

This full-time onsite role requires an active U.S. national security clearance or eligibility, an associate degree or higher in CS or a related field, and at least two years of software development experience.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. national security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Associate degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of two years in software development.
• Familiarity with Java, Groovy, Kotlin, or another OOP language.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments.
• Experience with building tools like Gradle or Maven.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement technologies for automating and delivering containerized web applications for the DoD.
• Work with professionals to design, implement, and sustain mission-critical software for US Navy warfighters.
• Learn and contribute to development tasks in Java, Groovy, Kotlin, and/or front-end frameworks.
• Conduct manual and exploratory testing to ensure quality across software systems.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and traceability to requirements.
• Support efforts to enhance automation, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration.
