Job summary

PMAT seeks a Programmer Engineer - Level III to design, develop, and deliver production software for DoD environments. You’ll work across the software lifecycle, implementing modern architectures and secure CI/CD pipelines across Kubernetes, cloud, and virtualized environments.

The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, U.S. citizenship, and onsite work in San Diego, CA. You’ll collaborate with engineers to deliver resilient capabilities for national defense.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with Agile frameworks and end-to-end delivery.
• Experience in DevSecOps, automated security testing, and CI/CD in regulated environments.
• Experience coding in at least one language (Python/Java/C#/Go/C++).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain production software using modern patterns.
• Build microservices, event-driven, and serverless architectures.
• Support Git workflows and automated testing for production deployment.
• Deploy software across Kubernetes, cloud, and virtualized environments.
• Configure automated security testing tools within CI/CD pipelines.
• Support DevSecOps delivery in regulated DoD environments.
• Ensure architectures operate in DDIL and PaaS environments and CDS integration.
