Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a SME Software Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG Special Programs Division at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The role emphasizes CI/CD for DoD software pipelines, DevSecOps integration, and MBSE to convert operational requirements into contract system requirements.

Candidate must hold an active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility, and have 20+ years of DoD engineering experience, including SAP/SCI exposure. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Active top-secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI/SAP access
• Master's degree in an engineering discipline with 20+ years DoD/government experience
• Minimum 3 years SAP/SCI experience in the last 5 years
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (CONUS)

Responsibilities

• Oversee software engineering architecture for CI/CD pipelines in DoD acquisitions and prototypes
• Assess interfaces among software, firmware, and hardware
• Translate user requirements into system requirements using MBSE
• Audit contractors for software configuration and quality accreditation
• Review system software architecture, test plans, and conduct testing
• Develop technical documentation, briefings, and engineering strategies
• Evaluate contractor proposals and advise on software design feasibility and system compatibility
• Interface with vendors and government representatives on software engineering activities
