Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our 24x7 SOC, defending DoD networks from sophisticated threats. You will triage alerts, analyze logs, and correlate data for investigations while coordinating with incident response teams and communicating findings to customers and USCYBERCOM.

Required are a DoD Secret clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II (or higher), CSSP-Analyst within 180 days, and a 2+ year degree/experience. Location is Scott AFB, IL with 2-hour commuting distance.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher.
• CSSP-Analyst certification within 180 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Commutable to Scott AFB, IL within 2 hours.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and triage security alerts from endpoints, IDS/IPS, NetFlow data, and custom sensors.
• Analyze extensive logs, pivot between datasets, and correlate evidence for investigations.
• Monitor threat intel feeds and IOCs in SIEM platforms.
• Collaborate with incident response teams and communicate incidents to customers and USCYBERCOM.
