Job summary

Leidos is seeking proactive Cyber Security Analysts to join a 24x7 front-line SOC focused on defending DoD networks. You will triage alerts from endpoints and sensors, analyze extensive logs, and communicate findings to customers and USCYBERCOM.

Key qualifications include active DoD clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II or higher, and CSSP-Analyst capabilities within 180 days. Location is Scott AFB, IL, with flexible shift options.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP, GSEC).
• DoD 8570 CSSP-Analyst credential within 180 days of hire.
• Strong networking fundamentals and OSI model knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ or 4+ years of defense/security experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and triage security alerts from endpoints, IDS/IPS, and logs.
• Analyze logs, correlate data, and produce detailed findings for investigations.
• Monitor threat intel feeds and IOCs in SIEM environments.
• Collaborate with incident response and communicate incidents to customers.
