Job summary

Leidos is seeking proactive Cyber Security Analysts to join our 24x7 front-line SOC team, defending DoD networks against sophisticated threats.

You will investigate alerts, analyze logs, correlate data, and coordinate with incident response and USCYBERCOM to ensure timely actions and clear communication.

Candidates must hold a DoD clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level II, and related CSSP-Analyst certification with 2+ years of relevant experience; relocation to Scott AFB may be required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification.
• CSSP-Analyst certification within 180 days of hire.
• Strong networking, packet analysis, and defense-in-depth knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years relevant experience; relocation to Scott AFB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and triage security alerts from endpoints, IDS/IPS, NetFlow, and sensors.
• Analyze logs, correlate data, and produce detailed incident findings.
• Monitor threat intel feeds and IOCs; integrate into SIEM/ sensors.
• Collaborate with incident response and communicate security incidents to customers and USCYBERCOM.
