Job summary

Leidos is seeking proactive Cyber Security Analysts to join our 24x7 front-line security operations team defending DoD networks against evolving threats.

Responsibilities include triage of alerts, log analysis, and correlation of evidence to support investigations, with timely communication to customers and USCYBERCOM. Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance and DoD 8570 certifications.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance, ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP, GSEC).
• DoD 8570 CSSP-Analyst cert within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and triage security alerts from endpoints, IDS/IPS, and NetFlow data.
• Analyze logs, pivot between datasets, and produce detailed incident findings and reports.
• Monitor threat intel feeds and IOCs, tying them to SIEM sensors.
• Communicate security incidents clearly to customers and USCYBERCOM.
