Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Support Specialist to support DISA GIG/DISN services from Scott AFB, Illinois. The role involves creating and updating tickets, monitoring 24x7 operations, and configuring IP and SATCOM networks to support DoD SATCOM gateways.

The position requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance to start, with DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification and experience in MILSATCOM, SAA/GAAs, and iDirect/Linkway infrastructure.

Qualifications

High school diploma with 2-4 years of related experience.
DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification at start date.
Active Secret clearance and DoD SATCOM experience.

Responsibilities

Create and update tickets in DISA ticketing systems for network issues.
Monitor 24x7 network events and element management failures.
Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and voice equipment for IP networks.
Provide IP satellite modem support and manage SATCOM files.
Remotely access customers into IP/SATCOM networks.
Troubleshoot SATCOM/IP network issues with DoD gateways.
Verify equipment baseline configurations and real-time operation.
