Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Support Specialist at Hill AFB, UT to support DISA-provided GIG/SATCOM services. You will monitor 24x7 operations, configure IP/SATCOM networks, and troubleshoot MILSATCOM issues while maintaining DoD security clearances.

A high school diploma with 2–4 years’ experience and DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification are required. This role requires Secret clearance and offers an environment dedicated to DoD missions, with responsibilities spanning ticketing, network

Qualifications

Must have DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent).
Active Secret security clearance.
2–4 years of related experience.
Experience with SAA/GAAs for network configuration and SATCOM equipment.

Responsibilities

Create and update tickets in DISA ticketing applications to track and resolve issues.
Monitor network events and element management in real-time 24x7x365.
Configure routers, switches, firewalls and voice equipment for IP networks.
Perform IP satellite modem support and manage option/boot/RSP files.
Remotely access and onboard customers into IP/SATCOM networks and troubleshoot SATCOM issues.
Verify equipment baseline configurations and manage DoD SATCOM Gateways.
