UIC Arctic Response Services, LLC is seeking a Private Branch Exchange (PBX) Technician to support mission-critical Base Telecommunications System operations at McConnell Air Force Base. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting telecommunications infrastructure, including copper and fiber optic systems, while ensuring compliance with DoD standards. The ideal candidate should possess a DoD IAT Level II certification, experience with Avaya voice switching systems, and the ability to work in a military environment. Qualifications

• Must hold DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
• Experience with copper and fiber optic cabling systems.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance inspections on telecommunications infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair telecommunications systems.
• Provide technical support for Avaya voice switching systems.
• Respond to and restore telecommunications outages within required timelines.

Skills

DoD IAT Level II certification

Experience in telecommunications installation

Proficiency in VoIP and SIP-based telephony
