Job summary

Centil is seeking a Hardware Engineer to support networking hardware design, deployment, and sustainment on a DoD program in Boulder, CO. The role requires full engineering involvement from design through deployment, with close collaboration across the engineering team.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in network hardware engineering, DoD contracting experience, and hands-on Cisco/Juniper expertise, plus the ability to obtain/hold a DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship and DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5–10 years in network hardware engineering, with 3+ years in DoD/government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, install, and maintain networking hardware (Routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) for DoD missions.
• Troubleshoot hardware and network issues across LAN/WAN/classified networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on integration, testing, deployment.
