Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support DoD network and security architectures across hybrid environments. You’ll apply routing and switching, ZTNA, and SDN concepts to strengthen transmission, interoperability, and protection against evolving threats.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, document complex architectures, and guide multi-vendor deployments of Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and other platforms while ensuring mission readiness

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, deploying, and supporting DoD network and security architectures in hybrid environments with Zero Trust.
• 2+ years in network segmentation/SDN/SD-WAN or virtualization platforms.
• 2+ years documenting complex network/security architectures and ZTNA implementations.
• 2+ years with BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, or L3VPNs.
• Ability to engage with senior leadership.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support enterprise network and security architectures.
• Analyze current infrastructures and improve security, reliability, and availability.
• Guide team through DoD modernization and deployment of new capabilities.
• Advise clients on network design, protocols, and configurations.
