Job summary

Centil in Boulder, CO is seeking a Systems Administrator to design, manage, secure, and optimize the IT infrastructure for a DoD client and a USSF program, working closely with a skilled team to deliver reliable, mission-critical systems.

This on-site role requires a current DoD Secret clearance (TS with SCI eligibility preferred) and a focus on the full program lifecycle, including patching, performance tuning, and documentation to support ongoing mission needs.

Qualifications

• US citizen with current DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• 5+ years of Systems Administration experience (excluding help desk).
• Experience across design, integration, test, operations, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/RHEL and network administration.
• Familiarity with RMF and DoD security regulations.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and IDS.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration support.
• Support version testing and evaluation; provide feedback to development/test teams.
• Assist Configuration Management with software upgrades and changes.
• Monitor and correct system performance issues.
• Apply standards and processes to shepherd development activities through lifecycle.
• Prepare operating procedures and documentation during program development.
• Analyze system capabilities to resolve program intent, outputs, inputs, and controls.
