Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Engineer to support DISA-provided capabilities and services, ensuring secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of DoD IP networks. The role entails sustainment, maintenance, and change management within a WAN environment, with focus on 99%+ uptime and secure design.

Preferred qualifications include DoD 8750 IAT II, Security+ CE, and extensive experience with Cisco/Juniper, Palo Alto, F5, and Splunk.

Qualifications

Must have DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II or equivalent.
Experience analyzing VLAN, routing, IP addressing, and subnetting.
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, F5 appliances, and Splunk systems.
Experience troubleshooting and configuring IP networks using BGP, ISIS, or OSPF and static routing.
Experience with Cisco/Juniper routers and interfaces.

Responsibilities

Perform design, implementation, and integration of network changes and sustainment in a wide area network environment.
Conduct planning and analytical tasks to align with customer specifications.
Control network systems to ensure 99% or better uptime and connectivity.
Ensure efficient delivery of contract capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
Mitigate risks, control costs and schedule variance, and manage large scale projects.
Perform engineering tasks including hardware and software design and implementation.
