Job summary

STR’s Analytics and Command & Control (AC2) Division seeks a Mission Engineer (Full Stack) to design, develop, and deploy software for mission-critical objectives in high-security environments. You will lead engineering teams and manage customer relationships to ensure delivery meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

You will work closely with DoD/IC operators, applying modern frameworks and API integrations to produce robust, field-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 7+ years of work experience or equivalent experience.
• Experience deploying software for DoD or IC missions.
• Expertise in developing and deploying software in high-security environments.
• Strong knowledge of modern frameworks and full-stack development.

Responsibilities

• Build prototype capabilities by breaking down use cases, creating an MVP, and evolving into a cohesive application.
• Develop high-performance frontend features that are fast, smooth, and intuitive under heavy load.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams to design, build, and deploy cohesive systems.
• Collaborate with end-users and customers, often military or government operators, to translate requirements into features.
• Travel to integration sites to deploy, test, and triage software in secure environments; travel ~1 week per month on average.
