Job summary

STR’s Mission Applications Group seeks a Mission Engineer (Full Stack) to design, develop, and deploy software for real-world DoD/IC missions. You’ll lead software teams, manage customer relationships, and ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions that meet high-performance and reliability standards.

You will work in high-security environments, integrate APIs, and deliver mission-focused features while collaborating across product and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying software in complex, high-security environments.
• Deep domain knowledge of DoD/IC missions and technology needs.
• Proficiency with modern frameworks, building full-stack applications, and API integration.

Responsibilities

• Build prototypes by breaking down use cases and MVPs.
• Develop high-performance frontend features that are fast and intuitive.
• Lead cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy cohesive systems.
• Collaborate with end-users and customers to translate requirements into features.
• Travel to integration sites to deploy, test, and triage software in secure environments (avg up to one week per month).
