Job summary

STR is seeking a Mission Engineer (Full Stack) for the Mission Applications Group to design, develop, and deploy software for real-world DoD missions in high-security environments.

You will lead engineering teams, manage customer relationships, and ensure software quality, reliability, and performance. Travel to customer sites up to one week per month is expected; active Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field; 7+ years of work experience
• Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret level with SCI Eligibility
• Experience deploying software for DoD or IC missions

Responsibilities

• Build prototypes and MVPs; evolve solutions into cohesive applications
• Develop and enhance frontend features for high-performance UIs
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams to design, build, and deploy integrated systems
• Collaborate with end-users (military/ government) to translate requirements into features
• Deploy, test, and triage software at integration sites in secure environments; travel up to one week per month
