Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required and DoD/federal experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Security certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) is required.
• 5+ years leading IT operations or technical support teams.
• Experience managing personnel in a DoD or federal environment.
• Strong IT service management and execution capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IT operations supporting government customers.
• Translate PWS requirements into measurable team objectives and processes.
• Ensure SLAs, performance metrics, and deliverables are met or exceeded.
• Mentor and develop technical staff, fostering a high-performing culture.
• Coach employees, resolve conflicts, and build customer relationships.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, workload balancing, and resources.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to protect mission performance.
• Coordinate with government leadership, subcontractors, and management.
• Develop SOPs and drive process improvements.
• Monitor quality assurance and maintain compliance with requirements.
• Prepare operational reports and performance metrics for leadership.
• Develop project plans per PMBOK and scale for assigned projects.
