Job summary

Nakupuna Companies is seeking a Business Financial Management Analyst to join our team serving NAVSEA 04. The role supports financial management functions, budget execution, and data analysis for senior leadership, with DoD processes and the PPBE framework in scope.

The ideal candidate has Navy/DoD financial experience, familiarity with Navy ERP, COBRA, PBIS and EDW tools, and strong Excel skills; U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance are required; onsite Washington Navy Yard.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of Navy experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree desired.
• Experience with Navy ERP, COBRA, PBIS and EDW.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables).

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, analyzing and consolidating POM program briefs into a POM Briefing notebook.
• For each budget cycle, identify SEA 04 funding lines and display in a SEA 04 Financial Summary document.
• Capture, validate and submit IT requirements for FYDP under SEA 04 oversight.
• Conduct reviews to ensure IT budget financials are accurate before SOC.
• Support CFO meetings and liaison with NAVSEA NEPS project office.
• Analyze SEA 04 programs' financial execution and prepare materials for leadership meetings.
• Maintain status of unfunded requirements in SEA 04 Tracker and coordinate with program offices.
• Support COB execution management and update COB Budget spreadsheets.
• Manage Government Purchase Card reporting and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Prepare financial briefing slides for Corporate Execution Review and coordinate EDW issues.
