Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) seeks a Cyber Systems Security Engineer to lead cyber security efforts for DoD assets and to drive the integration of modern cyber solutions ensuring resilience and mission superiority. You will translate security needs into engineering tasks and mentor teammates.

You will work in Manassas, VA with some remote work allowed, enjoy relocation assistance, and participate in a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls in line with RMF/SRG/STIG.
• Experience with Linux/Windows secure configurations and automated testing.
• Able to translate security requirements into engineering tasks and mentor teammates.
• Willingness to obtain DoD 8570 baseline certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and integration of cyber solutions for DoD assets.
• Collaborate across teams to balance mission goals with cyber protection.
• Conduct security assessments and validate configurations through automated testing.
