The role provides technical leadership for security and systems administration, aligning with DoD cybersecurity policies, including vulnerability analysis, STIG implementation, and system accreditation across DoD and Navy environments.

Qualifications

• Six years of professional IT security experience with DoD or Navy.
• Experience with vulnerability analysis, risk analysis, SCAP scans and STIGs.
• Experience with SIEM, endpoint security, and IDS.
• Accreditation and audits experience including TEMPEST testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure and manage security solutions for Navy IT environments.
• Conduct vulnerability analysis and risk assessments to mitigate threats.
• Perform SCAP scans and implement STIGs to harden systems.
• Support accreditation and auditing of systems to DoD and Navy standards.
