Job summary

The role requires designing and implementing security controls, applying RMF/SRG/STIG, configuring Linux/Windows securely, performing assessments, and mentoring teammates. Some remote work is allowed; relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining security controls.
• Experience applying RMF, SRG, and STIG guidance.
• Experience configuring Linux and Windows security settings.
• Ability to collaborate across teams on secure system design.
• DoD 8570 baseline certification (within 6 months) or higher.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity engineering initiatives and security architecture efforts.
• Drive development and integration of modern cyber solutions for DoD assets.
• Protect and defend DoD systems ensuring resilience and integrity.
• Mentor team members and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Translate security requirements into actionable engineering tasks.
