RTX’s Software Security Sensors and Effectors (S3E) is hiring a Senior Software Security Engineer for its Tucson, AZ site. The role focuses on real-time missile software design, development, and security-focused implementation using C/C++ on embedded platforms.

You will interface with the Systems Security Engineering team and customers to ensure mature, secure software capabilities. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in real-time embedded software, experience with VxWorks or Embedded Linux, and hold

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in STEM with 5+ years of software experience.
Experience with C/C++ and real-time software.
Experience with Xilinx MPSoC/Versal or similar embedded processors.
Experience with VxWorks or Embedded Linux.
Ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Understand real-time software design and performance implications for System Security implementations.
Participate in design, development, integration, and testing of real-time missile software.
Apply System Security principles to missile software applications.
Develop software using C and C++ on various computing platforms.
Collaborate with Systems Security Engineering to define and implement requirements.
Review technical design with customer to support verification of system maturity.
