Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Software Security Engineer to join the Software Security Sensors and Effectsors (S3E) team in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on real-time missile software development, security-focused design, and embedded software integration.

You will work with C/C++ on various computing platforms, interface with security engineering, and collaborate with customers to verify system maturity in a challenging defense environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience, preferably in DoD or aerospace.
• Strong C/C++ skills and real-time concepts.
• Experience with embedded processors and RTOS environments.
• Citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test real-time missile software components.
• Design, develop, integrate, and validate software in C/C++ for embedded platforms.
• Apply security principles to software design and implementation.
• Collaborate with Systems Security Engineering to define requirements.
• Interface with customers to review designs and support verification.
