Job summary

RTX’s Software Security Sensors and Effectsors (S3E) department in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior Software Security Engineer to design and validate real-time missile software security. You will work with C/C++, embedded OS, and security tooling in a DoD context, ensuring robust protection of deployed systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 5+ years of software experience.
• Experience with C/C++
• Experience with Xilinx UltaScale+ MPSoC, Versal, or similar embedded processors.
• Experience with embedded OS such as VxWorks or Embedded Linux.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Understand real-time software design and its performance implications for System Security implementations.
• Participate in design, development, integration and testing of real-time missile software.
• Apply System Security principles to missile software applications.
• Develop software in C/C++ on multiple computing platforms.
• Collaborate with Systems Security Engineering to define and implement requirements.
• Interface with customer to review design and support verification of maturity.
