Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Reception at our San Diego, CA site. You will be the welcoming first point of contact, handling access control, visitor management, and security-related administrative duties to support a secure environment within aero/defense settings.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, 18+ (21+ for armed), and a high school diploma. Join a collaborative team focused on integrity, reliability and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance required.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors per site procedures.
• Staff the front desk and greeting visitors; verify IDs; issue visitor credentials; maintain logs.
• Monitor access points and security systems; report unusual activity and policy violations.
• Respond calmly to incidents and notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Assist with administrative duties including directing visitors and answering phones.
• Receive deliveries and provide information per site policies.
