Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer-Cleared Facility in Longmont, CO to welcome visitors, manage access control, monitor entry activity, and provide professional customer service at a front desk supporting an aerospace and defense location.

The role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and a high school diploma; CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred. You will respond to incidents, document entry records, and uphold Allied Universal’s safety, integrity, and service commitments.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk of an aerospace and defense location by following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
• Greet visitors, verify ID and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain entry records.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity from the front desk and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify site contacts or emergency responders.
• Support a professional reception environment by answering inquiries and communicating information to leadership and site personnel.
