Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk in Carlsbad, CA. This role offers reliable, fixed anchor shifts with optional additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

A DoD clearance is required, along with front desk and access-control duties at an aerospace/defense site. You will provide customer service, screen visitors, issue credentials, and respond to incidents while

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Guard Card preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel following site policies.
• Monitor front desk access, greet visitors, verify IDs, and maintain records.
• Issue and collect visitor credentials and communicate access concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Maintain a professional, controlled-access environment at aerospace/defense site.
