Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks an Asset Manager to oversee IT procurement and inventory management, maintaining licenses, contracts, and service agreements for hardware and software. Qualifications

• 3+ years of related logistics experience
• DoD experience preferred
• Knowledge of secure supply chain best practices
• IAT Level II or IAM Level I - within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Maintain records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for hardware and software.
• Plan, monitor, and record software license and hardware assets to ensure vendor contract compliance.
• Eliminate waste and increase efficiency by optimizing IT asset use and avoiding redundant purchases.
• Provide real-time asset reporting: ownership, utilization, renewals, and feature usage.
• Develop methods for unclassified and classified shipments and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Research cost-saving opportunities for renewals, software licensing, and maintenance services.
• Procure, receive, inventory and provision software and hardware.
• Collaborate with IT Support and IA teams to recommend vendors and products.
