Job summary

Blue Yonder Defense Solutions, LLC. seeks a Major Account Executive to translate COTS technology for Department of War clients.

You will identify, develop, and close opportunities within DoD organizations, building a qualified pipeline and driving bookings and revenue. Location in Washington, DC preferred with travel up to 30% and cross‑functional collaboration with procurement, program managers, and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, operations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10 years of federal BD experience in assigned areas.
• Knowledge of DoD procurement cycles and contracting vehicles.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance (active preferred).

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and expand footprint within assigned DoD organizations or focus areas.
• Identify, qualify, and capture opportunities aligned with BYDS capabilities.
• Develop and execute business development strategies targeting government opportunities.
• Lead capture strategies, win themes, and pricing approaches for proposals.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to prepare compliant RFIs and proposals.
• Analyze federal budgets, procurement forecasts, and industry trends to identify growth areas.
