Job summary

Chainalysis Government Solutions seeks a senior Account Executive for the Department of Defense to own and expand the DoD portfolio, delivering blockchain intelligence capabilities to defense stakeholders.

You will manage cross-functional relationships with mission owners, cyber operators, program executives, and acquisition officials, advancing multi-year defense technology pursuits from discovery to adoption.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance required at start (Top Secret preferred).
• U.S. citizenship required; position not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• 5+ years of experience in federal technology sales, account management, or business development within the DoD, Intelligence Community, or national security environments.
• Proven track record of winning and expanding complex federal technology programs with multi-stakeholder alignments.
• Demonstrated experience selling mission-focused technology (data, analytics, cybersecurity, SaaS, or intelligence platforms).
• Solid familiarity with DoD missions, PPBE budgeting, and defense acquisition channels.
• High technical credibility engaging both operators and senior defense decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Territory strategy and execution for the Department of Defense, identifying key commands, agencies, programs, and mission teams where blockchain intelligence addresses critical operational needs.
• Demand generation and education of defense stakeholders on applying blockchain data to cyber operations, counter-threat finance, sanctions enforcement, procurement fraud, force protection, and hostile-state activity.
• DoD acquisition and capture management: navigate funding, budgeting, and acquisition processes, aligning opportunities with mission priorities and procurement timelines.
• Relationship and champion building across the defense enterprise—from operators and analysts to program executives and contracting officers.
• Technical pilots and demonstrations: partner with internal teams to design and lead mission-specific evaluations and pilot programs.
• Solicitations and partnering: lead capture strategies, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and collaborate with SIs, primes, and technology providers to expand DoD access.
• Customer voice and portfolio strategy: translate DoD requirements into feedback for Product, Policy, Training and Leadership teams while maintaining pipeline visibility.
