Job summary

Filevine, a Legal AI company, seeks an Account Executive for the Department of Defense to drive adoption of our agentic AI capability across DOD and the national-security community.

You will own the full sales cycle, speak DOD procurement language, and collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and GTM to define defense go-to-market while upholding security standards.

We are building a small, elite team to attack this market, and this role sits at the center of that effort.

Qualifications

• Genuine AI fluency — able to discuss agentic AI, models, data, and deployment.
• Deep understanding of DOD mission owners, programs, and operations.
• Proven track record turning mission needs into deliverable, fielded products.
• Consistent record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets in the DOD space.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business and revenue growth within DOD and national-security community, owning the full sales cycle.
• Translate mission needs into scoped AI capabilities and drive through pilot to deployment.
• Navigate DFARS and agency security protocols for classified/unclassified environments.
• Build and maintain relationships with mission owners, program offices, and evaluators.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with mission requirements.
• Coordinate with system integrators to ensure deployment and integration.
• Provide market intelligence and feedback to product teams to shape defense offerings.
• Forecast quarterly/annual performance and manage the pipeline in Salesforce.
• Lead Filevine's DOD presence with hands-on client engagement and security compliance.
