Job summary

Security Properties is seeking a Documentation Specialist to create, manage, and maintain manufacturing process documentation in a fast-paced food facility. You will develop SOPs and work instructions, ensure accuracy, and maintain organized filing systems across electronic and physical formats.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years’ experience in Data Entry.
• GMPs knowledge and HACCP knowledge are a plus.
• SQF knowledge helpful.
• ERP knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with document management systems (MS Office, Adobe Acrobat).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit SOPs, work instructions, manuals, and other documents related to food manufacturing processes.
• Ensure documents reflect current practices and standards.
• Maintain a comprehensive filing system (electronic and physical).
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular audits of documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to implement changes to documents.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, Safety, and Engineering to gather information.
• Serve as contact for document inquiries and staff training on procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes.
• Implement best practices for document control and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Maintain ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and multi-tasking.
