Job summary

Connect Search LLC is seeking an experienced Documentation Specialist to support quality and production operations in a manufacturing setting. You will create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, visual aids, process flowcharts, and training materials.

The ideal candidate will turn complex technical information into clear, easy-to-follow documentation and collaborate with Quality, Production, Engineering, and subject matter experts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation, quality, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, training materials, or process documentation.
• Manufacturing or production experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to take complex information and make it easy to understand.
• Comfortable working both independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and update SOPs, work instructions, training materials, and process documentation.
• Work with Quality, Production, Engineering, and subject matter experts to document processes.
• Observe production processes and translate information into clear work instructions and visual aids.
• Review and update documentation as processes, equipment, or procedures change.
• Maintain accurate document versions and ensure current procedures are available.
• Assist with employee training on new or updated procedures.
• Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage multiple documentation projects and meet deadlines.
