Job Title: Documentation Specialist
Job Location: Madera, CA
Work Schedule: On-Site, Monday–Friday (**May consider primarily remote but must reside around Madera, CA or Bellevue, WA)
Compensation: $60k–$80k/yr. DOE + Discretionary Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits + 401(k) with up to 3% Match
Requirements:
- Experience managing technical, quality, regulatory, or supplier documentation
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
- Experience reviewing supplier documentation, specifications, COAs, questionnaires, and compliance records
- Experience supporting audits, inspections, or regulatory requirements
- Food manufacturing, food ingredients, food safety, or related industry experience
- Food Science degree or equivalent industry experience
Preferred:
- FSVP certification/training
- PCQI training
- HACCP certification
- TraceGains experience
- Supplier/vendor qualification and risk-assessment experience
- Experience working with imported ingredients, co-packers, or regulatory compliance

Job Details
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Documentation Specialist to support food safety, supplier compliance, and regulatory documentation. This role will manage supplier and ingredient records, support FSVP requirements, and ensure purchased products meet applicable food safety, regulatory, and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier, ingredient, and food safety documentation
- Monitor and verify documentation from domestic and international suppliers
- Perform supplier and ingredient risk assessments and support FSVP compliance
- Review specifications, COAs, questionnaires, and other compliance documentation
- Complete documentation requests and packets for customers
- Track supplier corrective actions and maintain accurate compliance records
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory requirements
- Partner with Quality, Purchasing, R&D, Sales, vendors, and co-packers
