Description

Cervello Global Research Corporation (CGRC) is seeking a Documentation / Inventory Control Leadto control shipment documentation, descriptive inventories, packing lists, weight tickets, bills of lading, exception documentation, Government-owned container records, closeout packets, and related contract files.

Place of Performance is in Fort Benning / Columbus, Georgia Area.

JOB DUTIES / EXPERTISE:

• Review inventories, packing lists, weight tickets, shipment documents, delivery/transfer records, and closeout packages for accuracy, legibility, completeness, and timeliness.
• Verify required customer and contractor signatures, item identification, condition annotations, weights, cubes, shipment numbers, and supporting records.
• Maintain document control, electronic and hard-copy files, logs, reconciliation records, and final closeout acceptance before submission.
• Coordinate missing or discrepant documents with field supervisors, drivers, move coordinators, customers, and Government personnel as authorized.

Position Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Two or more years of logistics documentation, inventory control, transportation administration, records management, warehouse administration, or similar experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile multiple documents and data points accurately.
• Strong written communication and proficiency with office productivity and document-management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with household goods inventories, bills of lading, weight tickets, personal property records, or Department of Defense transportation documentation.

Work Environment and Availability

• On-site work in the Fort Benning / Columbus, Georgia area with local travel to customer residences, warehouses, contractor facilities, storage locations, terminals, and other contract locations as required.
• Must be able to work changing schedules, surge periods, early starts, extended days, and time-sensitive shipment deadlines when mission requirements require.
