Job summary

Cervello Global Corporation seeks a Quality Control / Safety Lead to execute the contract quality-control program and field safety oversight for packing, loading, containerization, drayage, delivery, facility, equipment, documentation, and customer-property protection activities in the Fort Benning, GA area.

This on-site role requires coordinating inspections and corrective actions across multiple facilities and locations.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of quality assurance, safety, logistics operations, transportation, moving, warehousing, or similar field experience.
• Experience conducting inspections, documenting deficiencies, and managing corrective actions.
• Strong attention to detail, recordkeeping, communication, and field-observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Quality Control Plan, conduct inspections, document findings, track corrective actions, and analyze performance trends.
• Conduct or oversee safety briefings addressing lifting, trip hazards, weather exposure, vehicle movement, site conduct, protective equipment, and customer-property protection.
• Verify packing/loading/containerization practices, serviceable equipment, facility readiness, and compliance with required operational procedures.
• Monitor service-delivery metrics, including packing quality, on-time pickup/delivery, documentation timeliness, invoice accuracy, and facility/equipment performance.

Description

Cervello Global Research Corpoation (CGRC)is seeking a Quality Control / Safety Lead to execute the contract quality-control program and field safety oversight for packing, loading, containerization, drayage, delivery, facility, equipment, documentation, and customer-property protection activities.

Place of Performance is inFort Benning / Columbus, Georgia Area.

JOB DUTIES / EXPERTISE:

• Execute the Quality Control Plan, conduct inspections, document findings, track corrective actions, and analyze performance trends.
• Conduct or oversee safety briefings addressing lifting, trip hazards, weather exposure, vehicle movement, site conduct, protective equipment, and customer-property protection.
• Verify packing/loading/containerization practices, serviceable equipment, facility readiness, and compliance with required operational procedures.

Position Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Three or more years of quality assurance, safety, logistics operations, transportation, moving, warehousing, or similar field experience.
• Experience conducting inspections, documenting deficiencies, and managing corrective actions.
• Strong attention to detail, recordkeeping, communication, and field-observation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Quality, safety, OSHA, Lean, Six Sigma, or related training/certification.

Work Environment and Availability

• On-site work in the Fort Benning / Columbus, Georgia area with local travel to customer residences, warehouses, contractor facilities, storage locations, terminals, and other contract locations as required.
• Must be able to work changing schedules, surge periods, early starts, extended days, and time-sensitive shipment deadlines when mission requirements require.
