Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Accurate data entry into computer systems.
• Familiarity with medical software (on-the-job training).
• Basic math and handling of numbers.

Responsibilities

• Verify required medical documentation for orders.
• Perform Insurance Verification.
• Gather documents to meet insurer guidelines.
• Submit and obtain prior authorizations for equipment.
• Review documentation to ensure pay coverage when a prior authorization is unavailable.
• Follow up with therapists and physicians when documents are not received.
• Explain to customers their expected financial responsibilities.
• Stay updated on industry and Medicare changes.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Wage $19.50-$20.00/Hr DOE.
