You will collaborate with payer representatives to appeal denied claims, monitor AR balances, and maintain timely cash flow through accurate data entry and reporting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the insurance process, medical terminology, and coding.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Understand and remember various accounting codes and how to use them.
• Accurate data entry and basic math skills.
• Strong problem solving and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable billing and collection for designated payers and locations.
• Submit insurance claims and process denied claims with appeals.
• Verify patient eligibility, coverage, and benefits; identify authorization needs.
• Post payments, monitor AR balances, and contact patients about collections.
• Audit, adjust accounts, and generate AR reports as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
